Why this Masterclass?

8 years ago, I developed eating disorders for the first time. Holding the conditioning that my worth was derived from my appearance, I turned to food as a way to be in control, so that I could be loved, accepted and belong.

Fearing that gaining weight would make me "unloveable" and "unworthy", I developed an extreme fear of fat, leading to severe restriction, orthorexia, and anorexia. I then lost my period, started losing my hair, lost my social life, and was nearly sent to hospital.

In 2018, I went through a spiritual awakening which led me to the path of recovery. I knew that I wanted to change, and actually live my life again. I no longer wanted food to control my life; I wanted to live a life where I made memories and experienced adventure, instead of worrying about how I looked like or what foods I didn't eat.

My recovery journey had it's own ups and downs, as I eventually overcame my fear of food, learned to accept and love the fat on my body as I regained weight, and learned to eat intuitively.

Today, I have a beautifully peaceful relationship with food. No longer does food control me or my life. No longer do I hold onto strict eating rules. No longer do I emotionally or binge eat, and no longer do I see food as a "reward". 

I eat completely intuitively, and have learned to create balance between maintaining health AND enjoying food. I've recovered from eating disorders, and have a loving relationship with my body too.
